Advisories: Enjoy the nice ocean breeze and warm water! We had lots of advisories and a few rip current rescues yesterday, and many of the same conditions exist today. Most of the sandbars are shallow but the rip currents are deep!!! Look for the areas in the water where adults AND children can stand and where the waves are breaking. ALWAYS swim near a lifeguard but if you must sit far away, please flag down one of our roving guards and ask about safe areas to swim.

Advisories: HOT! HOT! HOT! Please stay under your umbrella, wear PLENTY of sunscreen and stay hydrated!!! Also, there were many active RIP CURRENTS yesterday so remember- swim near a lifeguard! If unable to get in from a rip current, swim parallel to shore (WITH the current) or wave for help. Swim where the waves are breaking and try to swim where you can touch. Keep those kids on boogie boards and floats so they have something to hold onto if they start to struggle.
