Advisories: Water temp. has dropped again.  Offshore winds have pushed the warm water out and brought the cold water to the surface.  This is called upwelling and we've been dealing with it all summer.

Surf Conditions: 1-2 ft; building to 3 ft

Advisories:  Finally!  A change in our weather patterns will allow for an onshore flow today.  This should mean warmer water eventually.  Also with the NE winds we can expect an increase in rip current activity so swim near a lifeguard!!

Advisories: More cold water, probably best to start pretending your in Alaska.  Then the water may be considered warm!

Another good chance for storms this afternoon so keep an eye on the Western sky and be ready to take cover.

Advisories: Well the cold water is still here, so be prepared for that.  No real end in sight for these winds so get used to the ice bath.

Rip currents have not been a reazl issue these past few days and we don't anticipate many problems today.

Offshore winds have been causing problems for rafters and kayakers.  Know your limits and pay attention so that you don't end up to far offshore without the ability to get back in!
