We will have strong rip currents all day long as well as a significant risk of shore break and sandbar injuries. Due to this we have put up our flags for the day.
Our large surf is due to several storms headed our way: Hurricane Danielle, Hurricane Earl, and a third storm which has a 80% chance of becoming a named storm. Here's a link to NOAA's site about these storms.
